Thi Phuong-Tram

Thi Phuong-Trâm Nguyen is an architectural designer, researcher, and educator; but not necessarily in that order. Since September 2019, she is a studio instructor at the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism, where she also conduct a graduate seminar on filmmaking and architecture. In parallel to her teaching, she is pursuing a PhD in Architectural Design at The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL). Her research titled 'Anamorphosis | Drawing Spatial Practices' addresses the temporality of the gesture of looking through the study of anamorphic construction. Her design work explores the possibilities of drawing, filmmaking and writing to occupy the space of perception. She worked and exhibited in Lisbon, Liverpool, London, and Ghent.
